Communications Response Team

Goals:Improve or enhance the use of communication technologies to assure that information is available to assist the kidney community provide continuity of care during the response and recovery phase of a disaster.
Accomplishments: Developed a Kidney Care Emergency web site. Pioneered an emergency listserv for sharing disaster and emergency information. Set up toll-free line to serve as the central number for use in public service announcements for patients, family members, providers and the renal community at large.
