Are you new to preparing after-action reports (AARs) or intimidated by the process?

If so, join the Kidney Community Response (KCER) Program, in partnership with the Tampa Bay Health & Medical Preparedness Coalition (TBHMPC), for this timely webinar that will cover the basics of preparing an incident or disaster-related AAR. TBHMPC will provide an overview of its simplified AAR template and give you tips for preparing a complete and useful AAR and Improvement Plan (IP). We will also discuss some Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19)-specific topics to keep in mind as you evaluate your response to the pandemic!

Objectives

  • Understand why you prepare an AAR and where it fits in the emergency response process.
  • Understand the key components of an AAR/IP.
  • Be confident that you can prepare an appropriate AAR that will meet the requirements of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid (CMS) Emergency Preparedness Rule.
